Individual therapy for Deep Lasting Change
Serving New York & Massachusetts via Telehealth
Hi, I’m Dr. Thandika Brown.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in New York and Massachusetts. My work is grounded in insight-oriented therapy, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration. I help people untangle their challenges and old patterns to feel more confident, connected, and free. I work best with clients ready to commit to weekly or twice-weekly sessions to create the momentum and depth needed for fundamental transformation.

Who I Can Help
Those who are self-reflective but stuck: They think deeply about life and relationships, but can’t seem to break specific patterns (self-criticism, self-doubt, overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism).
Carrying invisible weight: From the outside, they may seem “fine” or successful, but internally they feel anxious, depressed, disconnected, or insecure.
Hungry for insight and growth: They’re not looking for “quick fixes” — they want to understand themselves, heal deeply, and make lasting changes.
Navigating identity and belonging: They may be wrestling with cultural identity, sexuality, gender expression, or how they fit into different communities.
High Achievers: They’ve earned the degrees, built the career, and checked every box of success — yet true satisfaction, joy, and peace still feel out of reach. What if the next goal isn’t about doing more, but about finally feeling whole?
